Nickel Alloy UNS N08825 is a nonmagnetic nickel-based Alloy that provides great resistance to oxidizing & reducing corrosive environments, and in particular resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Nickel Alloy 825 is able to resist stress corrosion cracking and localized corrosion attacks such as intergranular corrosion, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The mechanical properties of the alloy ensure excellent performance under severe conditions at both extremely low cryogenic and moderately high temperatures, up to 1000°C.
IPS Group supplies, worldwide, large sized Alloy UNS N08825 piping packages required for greenfield construction developments and services also medium-small Alloy UNS N08825 piping packages from the stock during the advanced construction stages when short lead times are required. Alloy UNS N08825 is used for upstream oil & gas fluids, chemical processing, and nuclear applications.
Our network stocks ½” up to and including 6” seamless Alloy 825 in cold worked annealed condition and are manufactured by the most reputed mills only. The pipes are manufactured in accordance with ASTM B423 and are subjected to additional testing that is exceeding industry standards and client specific standards. IPS Group supplies besides seamless pipes as well welded pipes in accordance with ASTM B705 UNS N08825, seamless & welded fittings in accordance with ASTM B366 UNS N08825, and flanges & forgings in accordance with ASTM B564 UNS N08825.
Our clients benefit from an Alloy UNS N08825 stock program that is subjected to the most stringent test requirements exceeding Shell MESC specifications. All Alloy 825 stocks are manufactured exclusively by European, Japanese or American mills. The stock program is in particular of use to clients executing construction projects related to the upstream oil & gas industry.
