Duplex UNS S31803 / S32205 is austenitic-ferritic stainless steel used for corrosive environments and is capable to resist localized corrosion such as pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The austenitic-ferritic chemical composition results in mechanical properties that are able to cope with high-stress conditions were to use of ordinary austenitic stainless steel will result in mechanical failure.

Our clients benefit from a Duplex stock program that is subjected to the most stringent test requirements exceeding Norsok M630 and Shell MESC specifications. All Super Duplex stocks are manufactured exclusively by Norsok M650 approved European mills. The stock program is in particular of use to clients executing construction projects related to the upstream oil & gas and water treatment industries.
