As environmental regulation requirements increase across the world, the need for cleaner sources of energy has gained importance. Biomass power plants fulfill this need by using organic materials like wood and wood wastes, agricultural waste and other bio-derived fuels, such as food waste and animal waste.
Much like a conventional power plant, biomass power plants function in high-temperature environments that require alloy material in small diameter, usually 15-400 mm (1/2”-16”) nominal diameter, along with complementary fittings, flanges, and valves.
IPS Group understands the custom specification of these applications and we offer complete supply packages, from the smallest screw to the main steam piping in ordinary carbon steel Grade B up to higher alloys such as ASTM P91. We further offer design services, PM of materials and handle all QA and documentation for a complete turnkey solution.
